I grew up in New Jersey.  I graduated from Delaware State University and Wilmington University with my BS degree & also a Masters degree. After leaving corporate America, I became a mortgage banker. In 2007, I completed my first novel (Finding Joy In Pain) which, was published in 2009. Shortly thereafter, (Finding Joy In Pain 2) came out in 2010 -both were published with Kensington Urban Soul. My first novel landed on the (Black Expressions Best Seller List) & the sequel became an instant best seller as well. In addition, I am an entrepreneur and a business woman.  I have done some television/commercial and radio work. I am married with two beautiful children~ God has blessed me the opportunity to do what I love & that is to write.
